Kate Min Kwon is a licensed Canadian immigration consultant (RCIC & RQIC) and the founder of R&K Consulting, an immigration firm based in Montreal with a branch office in Toronto.
Originally from South Korea, she graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in French Language and Literature. After several years of professional experience in Korea, she immigrated to Canada through the economic immigration stream and has since dedicated her career to helping others achieve the same goal.
Kate began her career in Canadian immigration in 2011 at Desti Consultants Group, one of the longest-standing immigration firms in Montreal. With over seven years of hands-on experience in the Canadian immigration field, she developed a deep and practical understanding of the country’s immigration system. In 2018, she founded R&K Consulting to offer independent and personalized immigration services. Kate is certified by both the federal government (RCIC) and the Quebec provincial government (RQIC)—a rare combination among Korean immigration professionals. This dual certification allows her to expertly guide clients through Quebec’s unique immigration system. She has extensive experience across a wide range of immigration programs and has successfully helped thousands of clients obtain visas and permanent residency.
Kate provides services in Korean, English, and French, enabling her to work seamlessly with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Her approach goes beyond simple application processing—she focuses on building customized immigration strategies based on each client’s unique situation, goals, and legal context.
